Some of the young people who have attended conferences in Wales have expressed an interest in learning about alternative therapies. There has been an increase in the last ten years of alternatives to mainstream (most common) medical practices. The major difference between alternative therapies and other traditional approaches is that they promote the idea that to restore a balance in our lives we must address not just the physical body but the spirit and mind too. Alternative therapy encourages self growth and healing and prescribes only natural remedies. It receives a poor press because it is seen as a challenge to the health system. When you think about it, if people could heal themselves then they wouldn't need doctors or psychiatrists.

Yoga
An excellent way to start your day. 20 minutes of stretching per day best taken in the morning can start you on the right foot. Yoga is an ancient and holistic system of harmonizing body heart and mind. So basically if you do it you will be less likely to get ill physically and mentally. But did you know that you couldn't lose weight-doing yoga? But some famous people speed it up as a form of exercise.
The traditional style of yoga can make you more supple (bendy) and improve your inner piece and calm. It is believed that you will handle difficult situations far better as a result of doing yoga long term. Physical and mental energies, combined with meditation and breathing awareness can bring harmony to your every day life.

Aroma Therapy
Power of the nose. No joke some companies have employed specialists to come in and arrange both sound and smell with aroma therapy and crystal chimes. Bam give it a blast check out our main recommendations.

Tai chi
I think its very much like yoga but with a martial arts feel. Also used as a martial art.

Acupuncture
Get run through with a big pin. I’ve been told it’s invigorating and sends rushes through your body. Leaves you feeling like your walking on air, every muscle relaxed and harmony found. Without I might add NO PAIN. I’m still wanting to try this one but cash aint my middle name.

Herbal
Do the Chinese live the longest? And if so is it because of Traditional Chinese Medicine? Herbal remedies have been around for many years. How many you ask? I don’t know I wasn’t around back then. But what I do know is that they work well. Many people go for herbal remedies when the usual stuff doesn’t work.
