Do you like your placement?

Are you getting bullied because you’re in care?

Well if so here is some advice

What should I do because I’m in care?

There is nothing really you can do, because being in care is not your fault. I find because I was in care I felt very pushed out of every foster placement. I also felt pushed out of school. I am now in a children’s home in South Wales. I felt like a different person from every one else.
I wasn’t in school but now I am in main stream school full time education which I am well pleased because I can get a job when I am older, some times I feel like I am going to kill myself but where would that get me? Now I’m in school for good.

Why do I get funny looks?
I pass my school sometimes people look and stare and give me dirty looks. Call me names behind my back, take my belongings and say hurtful things. You will get dirty looks as it is a sign of jealousy but your much more mature than them.

Here is some advice on bulling.
If your being bullied for any reason you should not put up with it, bulling is not tolerated I have been bullied for 3 years it will be the 4th year on September the 1st. you are not in care or in school to be bullied, no-one is allowed to touch you so don’t be afraid. Please tell some-one you can trust at the end of the day you will get a better job and qualifications and the bullies will either be in prison on the dole with no qualifications. Lol.

My work is too hard.
When my teacher gives me work I say “ I cant do this its too hard” do not shout with attitude tell the teacher calmly and quietly ask if you can have some easier work or some help.

Why is school important?
School is the most important thing in our lives from when were little to old. Some people wish they were still in school you need an education to have a job when you’re older.

I might fail my test?
If you say you are going to fail your tests you are always on the negative side look on the positive side every cloud has a silver line. I thought I was going to fail my tests but now I know I have got every one beside me looking out for me.

What do you want in the future?
In the future, do you want to be on the dole?
Or sitting on your bum watching television or listening to the radio?
Or would you rather a warm loving family and a warm house with a nice job?
