About
Me
I
live in care so they all stare and think I'm bare.
Life seems shit to me, so they all ditch me.
Mates come and go and so, I wait for moment of fate to come.
Mum is no longer a word to me,
although different is drummed into my head.
I
lie on my bed, and listen to what they have all sead,
which makes me wish I was dead.
Fed up is what I am, for I wish I was back in a pram.
Thoughts cram into my head enen though I try to stop, and drop them.
I feel sad and mad more than I feel happy.
These thoughts are like a pure bad headache that just wont cure.
Abuse
is on the loose, and I'm always its target.
Pressure is put towards me, and I think I'm only a child
for they should treat me mild.
I want to go to school cause I don't want to be a fool.
All this I have caused, for I wish it could be put on pause.
My head is a mess but I only try my best, death shoots through my head,
It's just the same as losing your breath..
I
don't want control; I just want to be listened to, and be a part of
the crew.
Tears come and go just like fear.
Won't someone take me away and make my dreams come true?
Cause I haven't a clue what to think or do.
This
is scary, for I wish a fairy could wave a magic wand over me.
I need help but all I can do is yelp.
But
I have to be strong, for as long as
I remain living.

A
POEM ABOUT LIFE
Sometime
I feel low and realy below
A bad day may get us feeling down, but we musn't frown
we have to get on with our life's.
What we do sometimes maybe be true,
But don't cry if you get accused of a lie.
Weak
and hard people all seek help,
even though it may seem like your the only one, and they've all won.
A fight isn't the answer; It doesn't make you bright with might.
You have to rewing and find,
what YOU were set out to do.
You
can't lose in life, you can choose to lose,
but what's that gonna prove?
You have to be brave, and go and show everyone what you can do.
Deep down you are true, and only you know what you are capable to do.
Everyone has enough of life, but believe me
all of us are tough to proceed in this life.
God must have put objects in the way of life to challenge us.
But god must have given us these life's for a reason,
so only we can believe in our self's
And not leave our lifes to wait on the shelf's.

Why?
We
all ask the question why, but why?
Why lie? Why cry? Why for what cause? Why put it on pause?
We all ask questions but why does the word "Why?" always come
into them?
Why
pick up a pen? Why build a den? Because we can?
Why use a pan?
Why always say mum? Some may think your dumb.
Why bother dad when you're always sad?
Why does how you feel seem so real?
Why
can we see? And why drink tea?
Why do we sit? Why do we hit? Why christen? Why Listen?
All
we can say is "why not?"

CAN'T
GET A BED
"It's
alright" they sead, comes to the day can't get a bed.
Now I walk the streets with a claud over my head - and need to get fed.
My lifes been hard, no ones complaining, all I am stating is someting
is straining.
Been
spending most of my life standing on my own two feet -
no mater where I lay my head used to waking up on a new street.
As
I look all I see is blue see, all I'd like is a bit of support from
this guy
Who was supposed to be there for me.
Wounder
why he desaigned my life this way?
Maybe its just a test, which I must say turned into a fuckin mess,
and nuff stress,
But I will keep on fighting till the day I rest,
Least I can say I tried my best.
Same
shit - Different day.
Gotta
get a grip - Make my way.
Forward
slow - I got to make another go.
Hope
this life is one you'll never know,
but that remains to be seen -
stay true to yourself and believe in your dreams.

TIME’S
EVIL WORK.
TEARS
DON’T FLOW SO FREELY NOW,
TIMES EVIL WORK GOES ON.
IT’S FOG DRIFTS THROUGH MY SENSES,
REAL LIFE HAS GONE,
ROBBED OF THE INTENSITY,
IT’S STEALING FROM ME STILL,
TIME COULDN’T CURE MY HEARTACHE,
SO MY MEMORY, IT CHOSES TO KILL.

Life
Life
is about who you love and who you hurt.
It is about who you make happy or unhappy.
It is about keeping or betraying trust.
It is about what judgments you pass and why,
who you ignored with full control and why.
It is about jealousy, fear, revenge and ignorance.
These
choices are what life is about.
K.H.
1
You will always get hurt
2 You will always get used.
3 There is always someone worse off than you are.
4 No matter how long you cry it still hurts.
5 But we (Young People) have the gift of life and will survive.
6 Pain is the issue of the game.
7 There is one place that no one can hurt you (YOUR MIND).
8 If one bad thing happens you can bet your last pound that more will
come.
9 You will always ask “why me?”
10 You will always get over it.
10
More things about life.
1
The cup is half full not empty.
2 Every cloud has a silver lining.
3 Expect the worst at all times and you will often be surprised.
4 If at first you don’t succeed try and try again.
5 If you want something bad enough you will get it.
If you don’t get it you didn’t want it bad enough.
6 The grass is only greener on the other side until you get there.
7 God helps those who help themselves.
(But god help those, who get caught!)
8 You get far more with honey than vinegar.
9 Nice people don’t finish last as they have already won before
the race starts.
10 What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

HELP
DO
NOT TURN AWAY FROM PAIN,
IT WILL NOT HARM,
BUT DO NOT ASK ME TO TURN AWAY FROM MY PAIN,
IF I TURN AWAY FROM MY PAIN,
IT MAY WELL HARM ME.
DO
NOT IGNORE ME OR MY PAIN,
BOTH ARE REAL TO ME,
ACKNOWLEGDMENT IS WHAT I SEEK,
AND TIME AND SPACE FOR ME TO HEAL.
DO
NOT CROSS THE ROAD AS I APPROCH,
DO NOT ADD TO MY PROBLEMS,
MY SUFFERING IS NOT CONTAGIOUS,
NOR WOULD I WANT IT TO BE.
DO
NOT PRETEND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED,
TO TRY AND EASE MY PAIN,
DO NOT BE AFRAID OR APPREHENSIVE,
TO USE THE NAME OF THE PERSON WHO CAUSED
TO MY PAIN.
I
DO NOT WAIT ON YOU TO LAY,
THE BURDEN THAT I CARRY,
BUT YOU CAN EASE MY PATH AHEAD,
JUST STAY BEHIND ME AS I TREAD,
THIS UPHILL BATTLE TO GO ON,
TO MEND MY BROKEN LIFE, TO START ANEW.

IF
I HAD MY CHILD
TO RAISE OVER AGAIN
IF
I HAD MY CHILD TO RAISE ALL OVER AGAIN,
I’D BUILD SELF-ASTEEM FIRST, AND THE HOUSE LATER.
I’D FINGER-PAINT MORE, AND POINT THE FINGER LESS.
I WOULD DO LESS CORRECTING AND MORE CONNECTING.
I’D TAKE MY EYES OFF WATCH, AND WATCH WITH MY EYES.
I WOULD CARE TO KNOW LESS AND KNOW TO CARE MORE.
I’D TAKE MORE HIKES AND FLY MORE KITES.
I’D STOP PLAYING SERIOUS, AND SERIOUSLY PLAY.
I WOULD RUN THROUGH MORE FIELDS AND GAZE AT MORE STARS.
I’D DO MORE HUGGING AND LESS TUGGING.
I’D SEE THE OAK TREE IN THE ACORN MORE OFTEN.
I WOULD BE FIRM LESS OFTEN, AND AFFIRM MUCH MORE.
I’D MODEL LESS ABOUT THE LOVE OF POWER,
AND MORE ABOUT THE POWER OF LOVE.

MY
VEIW
Young
people of today feel they are not listened to,
Their ideas and needs are not taken seriously. Our
Society that adults created for us is abysmal to be
Part of; we are treated like a joke. We are pushed
Aside and forgotten by people in authority, they
Make (and break) the rules that we must abide.
Young people need more from society in whole.
We
all deserve a chance at being someone, you tell
Us life is what we make off it but if we have no life
Then how can we make?
Many
of us have been used and abused by our own
Society. And still society is afraid of us, but we are
Just as afraid of prejudice and non-acceptance from society.
We
want to see more young people in power, fighting for our rights. People
on our side and not ashamed of us and supporting our needs. Believe
in making a difference with our views and ideas.
As
humans we feel discriminated against, like we don’t matter, we
want to be empowered and help to empower Others.

Self-Esteem
A Poem For Parents
Or Teachers Or Peers Or Bosses
Or Workers Or Anybody!
"I've got 2 A's" the small boy cried
His voice was filled with glee.
His Father very bluntly asked:
"Why didn’t 'you get 3?"
"Mom, I've got the dishes done."
The Girl called from the door.
Her Mother very' calmly said:
"And did you sweep the floor?"
"I've mowed the grass" the tall boy said
"And put the mower away"
His father asked him with a shrug:
"Did you clean off the clay?"
The children in the house next door
Seemed happy and content
The same things happened over there,
But this is how it went:
"I've got 2 A's" the small boy cried,
His voice was filled with glee.
His father proudly said: "That's great!
I'm glad you live with me!"
"Mom, I've got the dishes done",
The girl called from the door.
Her mother smiled and softly said:
"Each day I love you more .'"
"I've mowed the grass", the tall boy said:
"And put the mower away."
His father answered with much joy:
"You 've made my happy day!"
Children deserve a little praise
For tasks they're asked to do.
If they're to lead a happy life,
So much depends on you.

When
I ask you to listen to me
When
I ask you to listen to me
and you start giving advice
you have not done what I asked.
When I ask you to listen to me
And you begin to tell me I shouldn't feel that way,
you are trampling on my feelings.
When I ash you to listen to me
and you feel you have to do something to solve my problems,
you have failed me, strange as that may seem.
Listen All I asked, was that you listen
not to talk or do - just hear me.
When you do something for me that I can and need
to do for myself
you contibute to my fear and weaknesses.
But, when you accept as a simple fact that I do feel
what I feel
no matter how irrational, then I can quit trying to
convince you
and can get back to the business of understanding
what's behind this irrational feeling.
And when that's clear; the answers are obvious
and I don't need advice.
Irational feelings make sense when we understand
what's behind them.
So, please listen and just hear me. And, if you want
to talk,
wait a minute for your turn; and I'll listen to you.
