Some prostitutes can be victims of circumstance. If their circumstances were different, and given the chance many active prostitutes would go for other types of work. It is not that hard to believe, as it’s not likely to be a life long ambition.

EXAMPLE: should the abuse not have happened or money be so short you couldn’t feed your child or whatever the circumstances that got you involved in prostitution didn’t happen, you wouldn’t be selling your body for money today.

Now here is a good point to remember why did you start?
Are those circumstances still the same now?
If not is it time to try and get out?

It was probably harder to deal with all the emotions of selling your body for money in the earlier days but as time progresses your mind adapts to the harshness of the situation and you find yourself justifying why your doing it:
“Nobody respects me so why should I respect myself?”
“It pays the bills.”
“How else am I going to support my child/children?”
“Nobody cares what I do.”
And so on and so on. As you can imagine the list would be endless as there are thousands of prostitutes everywhere all justifying why they are doing it.

After the initial need has been sorted it is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the sex industry. It’s a multi million pound industry with the higher moneymakers keeping as many people working as they can. These top dogs care about one thing alone. The MONEY YOU MAKE THEM. And for those who don’t work for them, worry about being robbed or beaten up.

I have seen this with my own eyes and know that the money from prostitution can be very attractive form of income. So once some one has gone through the mental pressures attached to prostitution and have overcome their initial problems it can be hard to adjust to earning a fraction of that cash in a normal job. Sometimes (well actually a lot of the time) prostitutes get addicted to the cash, and long after the extra cash has helped them out they discover that they also need clothes, drugs, home furniture, cars, salon treatments and again this list is endless. But are these material things really needed?

 

I know that working girls/boys can be on the game from any age and last for as long as their looks last.

Drugs and prostitution can go hand in hand as pimps can use drugs to bring in fresh talent. BEWARE of free drugs; it can be a grooming process. For example your out with your friends and some bloke who is at the party who seems to know the same people as you know, offers you a few lines of cocaine.

But wait is he a dealer?
Because if he is he also knows after 2 or 3 times of trying it for free you will need to pay. And who’s pocket are you going to be lining with cash? HIS.
OK now lets pretend that he’s also a pimp.
Well you’ve had several free hits, you got some cash together for a few more but the dosh ran out last month. But he’s cool you can have it on tick (strapped or IOU) before you know it you did a £100 worth of gear in one night (coz he’s so clever he gave you a £20 bag to start, waited for you to be off your face, and then gave you another £70 worth). You aint going to last three days without another hit now so you tick some more off him, and you bill gets higher ands higher. There aint no more free-bees, and you owe loads of dosh to some dude who aint as friendly as you first thought. Violence and intimidation are next, and wait there is a way out he tells you. You could sell ‘YOUSELF’ to this bloke he knows, he’ll pay well and after two or three jobs you will be out of debt and be able to put more coke up your nose. As you are on your way to becoming a professional crack head (your judgement is already screwed!) this probably wont seem that bad.
IT IS THAT BAD.
